May Wrap Up

May was a crazy month! As many of you might have heard it’s just been storm after storm down here in Texas. We got hit real bad in Houston but luckily my family as spared. As of now it looks like we might [fingers crossed] have a few weeks of dry weather coming soon. Also I turned 40! Yep I’m an old lady haha! I’ve never been one to stress about birthdays to me it’s just another day. I really didn’t celebrate because of the storms but I got some great gifts from fam…a new TV for my bedroom, a new bookcase, amazon gc and cash. So that sums of my month how as yours?

  1. Glad to hear your family was OK in all the rain and flooding. We were as well, but wow - some rain huh? Although, I am so glad that our lakes are recovering. It's been an awful few years and maybe we'll not have the water restrictions so much this summer. And, of course, it could stop raining and not rain again until November or something. That would be quasi-normal, wouldn't it?

    1. Glad to see fellow Texans are ok. Yes this rain was horrible. I agree it would be just like Texas to stop raining for months but I won't complain after the month of rain we had.
